AAF Greater Fort Lauderdale and the Palm Beaches Presents A Deep Dive on Curiosity with Wieden+Kennedy Co-Heads Noreen Morioka and Nicole Jacek

Boca Raton, FL – AAF Greater Fort Lauderdale and the Palm Beaches will host A Deep Dive on Curiosity, a not-so-fancy-pants luncheon and chat with Noreen Morioka and Nicole Jacek, co-heads of Wieden+Kennedy, for an exploration on curiosity fueling creativity and their approach to design. The event will consist of a discussion with Morioka and Jacek about their work, the pleasant consonance of their first names and one weird trick to change your life and career forever. Following the discussion, guests are invited to stick around for a Q&A with the speakers.

As co-heads of W+K Design, Morioka and Jacek together, lead the hundred-plus employees of the design studio located at the agency’s Portland headquarters. Morioka most recently served as chief creative officer for San Francisco-based luxury skincare line Tatcha while Jacek previously ran the design agency NJ(L.A.). Morioka calls the design studio “the agency’s secret weapon.” Earlier in her career, Jacek worked at prominent design firms including Sagmeister & Walsh and karlssonwilker.Morioka was a co-founder and spent 25 years at AdamsMorioka, partnering with Sean Adams, and also served in top roles in AIGA LA, receiving the AIGA Medal in 2014.

The Advertising Federation of Greater Fort Lauderdale was established in 1957. It is the local branch of the national group, the American Advertising Federation (AAF).
