Golf Tournament for Charity
Boca Raton, FL – The fourth annual golf tournament ‘Golf Day for Israel’ is taking place next Monday, April 15 at Broken Sound Country Club to Benefit the American Friends of Magen David Adom, Israel’s ambulance, blood-services, and disaster-relief organization, serving as emergency medical first responders for the state’s 8 million people. MDA is the only organization mandated by the Israeli government to serve in this role, but it’s not a government agency, so it relies on people for funding. All donations and proceeds will benefit AFMDA.

8 a.m. Registration for golfers
8:15 a.m. Dedication of Ambulance (from pre-events the chapter has raised enough money to dedicate an ambulance!)
8:30 a.m. Golf shotgun
1 p.m. Lunch at Broken Sound Club (don’t play golf? Join us just for lunch for $36)

Seaside Soiree for Charity
The fourth annual Seaside Soiree benefiting CityHouse Delray Beach will be a dinner and auction taking place this Thursday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at the Colony Cabana Club – 1801 S. Ocean Blvd. CityHouse provides hope and renewal to homeless single mothers and their children. They help mothers experience real change through a long-term program that offers daily mentoring, accountability, educational opportunities, support and encouragement while giving their children a safe and secure environment to live and thrive in.
The charity has an apartment building in east Delray Beach were mothers and children can temporarily stay until they get back on their feet, and they are making a huge announcement at the event about opening another safe haven for mothers and children in Boca Raton!
Tickets: $100 pp.
