Boca Raton, FL – This year KidSafe celebrates a decade of empowering and educating children and adults to prevent child abuse, bullying and online exploition.

Your attending the gala ensures more success stories like Hope’s. With her classmates, Hope learned that she has the right to be safe, and she practiced how to use her safety voice and report to her circle of safe adults when she was scared and confused.  Hope used those empowering lessons, and had the courage to report that her cousin had touched her private parts.

But this family’s story has an empowered ending.  Hope’s teachers and parents were educated by KidSafe so they knew exactly what to do to keep her safe, and how to hear and help Hope as she bravely reported what had happened to her. Because the family reported and sought help, it was revealed that Hope’s cousin had been abused by a babysitter for years. This family’s cycle of abuse had been stopped—through KidSafe education!
