TODAY: Rep. Frankel Hosts Gun Violence Town Hall in Wellington
Boca Raton, FL – On Wednesday, August 29, Congresswoman Lois Frankel (FL-21) will host a town hall with local elected officials to discuss gun violence in our community.
This month, Florida has seen deadly shootings in both Wellington and Jacksonville. In 2016 Florida led the nation in mass shooting casualties, and devastating gun violence has occurred across the state in Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Parkland. Rep. Frankel is committed to fighting for common sense gun safety legislation to prevent future tragedies.
During the town hall, Rep. Frankel and local officials will take questions from the audience and discuss what measures can be adopted to address this epidemic and prevent gun violence.
