Bernard M. “Bernie” Tillson Obituary

Mr. Bernard M. “Bernie” Tillson, age 73, passed away on January 10, 2015. Funeral Services will be conducted on February 7, 2015 at 1 PM at the Boca Raton Fire Safety Admin Building, Boca Raton, FL.

Mr. Tillson was a native of Manchester, NH and had lived in Boca Raton, FL for 28 years, Cheboygan, MI for 11 years and then Park City Utah for 6 years before moving to Milledgeville. He was preceded in death by his Father, Bernard J. Murphy and mother and Stepfather Evie Turgeon Tillson and Harold A. Tillson. Mr. Tillson was a retired Firefighter/Paramedic from the Boca Raton Fire Safety where he had served as Chief.

Mr. Tillson is survived by his son- Butch Tillson of Milledgeville, Grandchildren- Joseph M. Tillson of Midland, TX, and Patrick G. Tillson of Milledgeville, Sister- Judy Hynes of Manchester, N.H., and a Brother- Harold B. Tillson ( Doris) of Bristol, N. H.

Donations may be made to the Lymphoma Society or to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
