On Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 3pm, Music at St. Paul’s continues its 31st season in a concert featuring finalists from the Lynn University Conservatory of Music 2018 Chamber Music Competition. The program begins with La Mer Trio playing Antonín Dvořák celebrated “Dumky” Trio. Made up of violinist David Brill, ‘cellist Sonya Nanos, and pianist Jiawai Yuan, the ensemble was coached by Dr. John Robertson, Dean of the Conservatory. Concluding the program are two pieces for piano four-hands: Debussy’s Petite Suite and Schubert’s Lebensstürme. Featuring pianists Jannina Eliana. G. Peña and Robiyakhon Akromova, The Peña-Akromova Duo was coached by Dr. Roberta Rust, Professor of Piano.
At 2:30pm, Dr. Paul Cienniwa will give a pre-concert lecture. Tickets are a $20 suggested donation (18 and under are FREE) and are only available at the door on the day of the concert.
