Delray Medical Center Earns Awards from the American Heart Association

The American Heart Association recently awarded Delray Medical Center with the Get With The Guidelines Gold Plus for Stroke and Heart Failure Award and the Target Stroke Award. Delray Medical Center received the two awards for successfully implementing a higher standard of stroke care. Jennifer Chiusano, chief nursing officer, and Lisa Brundage, director of quality, accepted the awards on behalf of the hospital. They were presented by Julie Owens, market vice president and executive director of the American Heart Association of Palm Beach County.
