The Heat is on with the GoSection8 Top Chef Competition

May 22, 2013 Boca Raton, FL— In an effort to give back to the local community and implement a healthy eating initiative, the largest rental-listing service for the Section 8 housing market GoSection8.com will be hosting its first ever Top Chef Competition with two renowned South Florida chefs on Friday, May 31st. Executive Chef Ursula Rafer, Owner of Divine Dinning and Executive Chef Hugh Sinclair, Owner of Chef Irie spice will be competing for the chance to win a contract for weekly lunches for all GoSection8 employees and a donation for two local children’s charities. The judges will be twenty-five hungry employees who will determine the winner.

At GoSection8.com, every event we host is linked to a charity because one of our main goals is to give back to the local community. Each chef will compete to benefit a local children’s charity. $1,000 will be awarded to the 1st place winner and $500 for the runner up. One chef will represent the Unicorn Children’s foundation which is dedicated to education, awareness, and research on behalf of children and young adults with developmental, communication, and learning disorders. The other chef will represent the American Association of Caregiving Youth, which is the national resource for support of children who are caring for ill, injured, elderly, or disabled family members.

GoSection8.com is known for its dynamic and innovative culture, and a workplace where employees enjoy their jobs. We have a ping pong table for stress relief, Insanity workout program to burn calories lead by Rich, the owner, and a full kitchen where employees take turns to cook for everyone.

At Go8 we would like to serve as an example of companies in Boca Raton working in a fun, productive and giving environment. If you would like to discuss this further or would like to attend please contact Sarah Reiss, Marketing Manager at 1-866-466-7328 ext.228 or email sreiss@gosection8.com
