Man seen in backyard arrested for burglary

On Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at about 11:15 a.m., members
of the Boca Raton Police Department’s Tactical Team responded to a report of an
unknown person in the backyard of a home at 81 SW 15th Court. The resident called
police and said they saw a male looking in the windows of their home, then saw him
leave in a green Chevrolet.

Members of the Tactical Team responded to the area and saw the green Chevy. As
officers followed the car they saw it pull into the driveway of another home and a
male, later identified as Stepfon Ross, get out of the car and walk up to the house.
Several minutes later Ross got back into the car and drove away. The officer observed
a traffic violation and stopped the driver.

When officers questioned Ross he gave several different stories about why he was in
Boca Raton, where he had been and what he was doing there. Ross eventually told
officers he had come to Boca Raton to burglarize homes, but got scared off before
he could accomplish the task. The resident at 81 SW 15th Court identified cialis european Ross as
the person who was in his backyard, looking in the windows. When officers searched
Ross they found a window punch concealed in his shoe.

Officers arrested Ross and charged him with attempted burglary to a residence,
loitering and prowling and possession of burglary tools.
