FAU College of Business Ranked “Best Buy” for Online Degrees

BOCA RATONFlorida Atlantic University’s Graduate College of Business has been ranked a “Best Buy” among online business degree providers by the national review team at GetEducated.com. FAU’s online business degrees ranked first for “Best Online Masters in Accounting” and 13th out of 60 for “Best Online MBA Rankings-AACSB Accredited.”

“We are grateful that FAU’s emphasis on providing students a high quality and competitively priced AACSB accredited online education is earning us this kind of recognition,” says Som Bhattacharya, Ph.D., interim dean of FAU’s College of Business. “We have carefully developed programs using non-traditional formats in order to accommodate our students’ busy schedules and without necessitating career interruptions.”

The Get Educated online AACSB accredited degree rankings were calculated by comparing tuition and distance education fees at 67 regionally accredited or regional candidate universities in the U.S. that offer 136 online bachelor degrees in the formal major area of business administration. This list is a review and ranking of the least expensive online MBA degree programs with AACSB accreditation under $37,000.

FAU’s College of Business hosts five departments and the School of Accounting with a variety of interdisciplinary and professional development programs, and offers an expanding collection of undergraduate and graduate degrees online, including a bachelor of business administration, bachelor of business administration in accounting, master of accounting, master of business administration, and executive master of taxation. In addition the COB has a growing momentum in offering courses taught using the Lecture Capture and Video Streaming (LCVS) technology, capturing live and recorded lectures in high definition and making them accessible to students anywhere, anytime, on any device, including PCs, smart phones and tablets.
