Miami Metro Report: June 2018

The Zumper Miami Metro Report analyzed active listings in May across 19 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Florida one bedroom state median was $1,187 last month.

The Most Expensive

Miami, FL saw rent climb back to $1,800 and continued to be the most expensive in the metro.

Boca Raton & Miami Beach, FL tied for second with one bedrooms both priced at $1,700.

Fort Lauderdale, FL was third with rent at $1,610.

The Least Expensive

Homestead, FL rent fell behind Lauderhill’s to become the most affordable at $1,010.

Lauderhill, FL inched up one spot to rank as the second least expensive city with rent at $1,070.

West Palm Beach, FL was third with one bedrooms priced at $1,220.

Growth Rate

The Fastest Growing (Y/Y%)

Davie, FL saw rent climb 15.2% since this time last year, making it the fastest growing.

Coral Springs, FL had the second fastest growing rent, up 13% since this time last year.

Sunrise, FL rent had the third largest year over year growth rate, up 12.8%.

The Fastest Growing (M/M%)

Sunrise, FL also had a large monthly growth rate, rising 5.2%.

Lauderhill, FL rent grew 4.9% last month, making it second.

Coral Springs, FL followed closely behind as third with rent up 4.8%.MiamiJune
