Yes, the American Lung Association’s Las Olas Wine and Food Festival takes place Friday, April 19 from 7:30-10:30 p.m., along five city blocks of Las Olas Blvd. Now celebrating its 28th year, the “Las Olas” is the nation’s biggest, best, and most celebrated all-inclusive culinary street festival. Ft. Lauderdale’s famed strip closes to vehicular traffic for the massive event, and becomes one massive street party. Here’s where an estimated 2,000 fellow foodies and party-goers (like you!) hit the street, and taste their way through unlimited samplings of food, wine, beer, and spirits – along with an array of other activities, including music, interactive games, intriguing displays, and the enjoy general festive party scene, among a few thousand of their new best friends.
