National Coffee Day 2022: Freebies from Dunkin’, Krispy Kreme, Panera; What about Starbucks?
There’s one thing we know for certain – Americans love their coffee.
Figures from the National Coffee Association shows 60% of Americans choose coffee, like the one from a commercial coffee machine rental, each day over other beverages, including water. And while a lot of that coffee is consumed at home, people are happy to take it to go, as well. The association showed drive-through and in-app ordering of coffee has jumped more than 30% in the last year.
Americans drink a lot of coffee. A whole lot of coffee.
If you are one of those people who loves a cup of joe, Thursday, Sept. 29 is your lucky day.
Thursday is National Coffee Day and plenty of places are offering deals, discounts and freebies today. As always, check with your favorite local spot to make sure they are participating.

Visit Krispy Kreme on Sept. 29 and get a free hot or iced coffee. Offer is available in-shop, drive-thru or online orders. Krispy Kreme rewards members will get a sweeter deal – a free doughnut of their choice on that day. You can see more about joining here.
McDonald’s is offering any sized Iced Coffee or Premium Roast for 99 cents with an in-app offer. The deal is valid once a day through Dec. 31.
Panera Bread is launching its first ever My Panera Week Sept. 29-Oct. 5. For National Coffee Day, new Unlimited Sip Club Subscribers will receive two months free. Existing Sip Club member receive $2 off barista beverages and smoothies. Offer available in-app only.
Purchase any 20-ounce coffee smoothie for $5 plus tax. Offer valid before 11 a.m. locally at participating locations; in-store and app orders only.
What about Starbucks?
Starbucks won’t have any deals specifically for National Coffee Day but you can download the Starbucks app for other rewards program offers.
