Accusations Fly as Florida Voter Registration Site was Offline

The offline status of a Florida voter registration website on Sunday morning sparked a lot of controversy and accusations as to why the site was down in the first place.

Being only two days before National Voter Registration Day, this angered many Florida locals.

Accusations were thrown at Republican Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis, stating that he took the site down for maintenance so close to registration day as an attempt of voter suppression.

A spokeswoman for the agency assured voters that this was not an orchestrated plot in anyway.

The site was reported to be under maintenance in order to increase security and support incoming traffic associated with National Voter Registration Day.
