Fun Things to Do in Boca Raton

If you are thinking about a holiday spot, you should plan a visit to Boca Raton or simply Boca as the locals like to refer to it. Here are some exciting things to do while on the trip.  

Daggerwing Nature Center

Red Reef Park

If you like water and everything that comes with it, you will have a blast at the Red Reef Park. You can snorkel or fish, have a picnic, do your bird watching, play a round of Golf at the Red Reef Executive Golf course, among other activities.

The Wick Theatre and Costume Museum

If you have an appreciation for Broadway and would like to see some of the costumes worn in many of the musical plays, then make sure that you visit the Costume Museum at the Wick Theatre. With a collection of more than 50 Broadway revivals and productions, the collection, which is worth more than $20 million, is sure to be fascinating to all visitors.

Once you finish touring the Museum, enjoy additional activities like cabaret, theatre shows, and fine dining.

The Nature Center at Gumbo Limbo

The Gumbo Limbo Center is the perfect place for any environmental lovers.  The Nature center has a sea turtle theme and events including turtle Walks,  sea turtle summer camps, marine feeding among others. The nature trail has no entry fee, but as a visitor, you can leave a small donation of $5.

The Museum of Art

The 44,000 Square foot museum of art receives more than 200,000 visitors every year. You will see exhibitions and collections in the various galleries. There are also presentations by different artists, activities for the whole family, and lessons at the Studio of Art. Any child below the age of 12 has free access to the museum.

Mizner Park

Mizner Park is the perfect location for anyone who wants entertainment; which you will get from the fine art exhibition, amphitheater and iPic Theatres.  You also have 16 restaurants to choose from, and shopping facilities from the high-end boutiques and retailers.
