Ben Krieger of Boca Raton Celebrates 80th Birthday

Ben Krieger’s immediate family came to Boca Raton, Florida by air and car from New York, Texas, Ohio, South Carolina, and The Villages, Florida. Celebrating Ben’s memorable birthday on July 7, Grandpa Ben shared his day with grandson Benjamin who was born 28 years ago on Grandpa Ben’s birthday.   

The family event hosted by Ben’s wife, Rosemary, of 59 years was held at Edgewater Pointe Estates in the Harvest Room.  Granddaughter Jenna Rose who recently arrived from her two year volunteer work with the Peace Corps gave a memorable prayer before dinner. Son Ken Krieger presented a sentimental journey down the path of his father’s 80 year life with touching and charismatic steps in each word that had the family teary eyed with tenderness and love.

Bernie Shanahan, a good friend from St. Jude Church played the piano and sang after dinner at 8 p.m.  This was a night to remember.  Ben’s wife, Rosemary had a brick installed in the Garden of Pathway to knowledge to honor Ben’s birthday.  

Guests included daughter Cathy, Mike G, grandson Benjamin, Casey, granddaughter Jenna Rose, son Ken, wife Christine, grandson Nicholas, Ben’s brothers Dennis and wife Kathy, Mike and wife Shirley, sister in law Elaine and husband John, brother in law Norman and wife Julie.
