Area Business Leaders Golfing For a Cure for MDA

Ed Morse Automotive Group Executives and Business Leaders throughout the Palm Beach area and all of South Florida will be golfing for a cure during the 19th Annual Ed Morse Automotive Group Golf Classic to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. It’s all part of a fun and philanthropic effort to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the people they serve in greater Palm Beach County. The tournament is looking to break the $1.3 million dollar mark for funds raised for MDA. For anyone interested in a day of fun and sun on the Breakers West course there’s still room for a few more foursomes or individual golfers to join in and help a great cause.

The event will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Breakers West Rees Jones Golf Course in West Palm Beach, FL . Registration begins at 7 a.m. and includes breakfast. Four-person shotgun scramble will be held at approximately 8:30 a.m.

Immediately following golf (estimated at 1:30 p.m.) luncheon with cocktail hour will be held, awards and live auction

Hundreds of families locally, and more than a million nationwide, are living with progressive muscle diseases. Golf tournaments help MDA fund research projects worldwide; operate some 200 hospital-affiliated clinics; assist families in locating and repairing critically needed medical equipment; run disease-specific support groups; sponsor annual weeklong summer camp sessions for thousands of youngsters; and advocate for the needs of the families MDA serves.
