Celebrities Announced for 25th Annual Chris Evert/Raymond James Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic

Television personalities Gayle King and Rob Marciano, comedian Dennis Miller, actor Timothy Olyphant and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, head a list of celebrities who will participate in the silver anniversary Chris Evert/Raymond James Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic that raises funds to combat drug abuse and child neglect in Florida.

The event will be held Nov. 21-23 at the Boca Resort & Club and the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center.

The charity event will also feature longtime stalwarts Jon Lovitz, who has attended Evert’s event for more than a decade, fellow actors Alan Thickeand Maeve Quinlan and singers Gavin Rossdale and David Cook. “Grey’s Anatomy’s” Kevin McKidd will be back for a fourth straight appearance, “The Today Show’s” Hoda Kotb is returning after playing in the  2011 event and Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade is making his first appearance since 2009.

King, CBS This Morning co-anchor and editor-at-large of O, The Oprah Magazine and former “Entertainment Tonight” host Marciano (now with      ABC’s “Good Morning America Weekend”) are participating in their firstChris Evert/Raymond James Financial fundraiser, along with former SNL cast member Miller,  FX “Justified” star Olyphant, and Ferguson, a longtime children’s charities advocate.

Evert, an International Tennis Hall of Famer and South Florida philanthropist,began hosting the event after retiring from professional tennis in 1989, and more than $21 million has been raised during that time.

“It is fitting that in our 25th year we will have our best celebrity lineup ever,” said Evert, who is one of ESPN’s lead tennis analysts. “It has always been about helping young people in our community and their efforts are key in helping us make a difference.”

Chris Evert Charities partners with the Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida, a public-private partnership blending state and private dollars and investing them in innovative, community-based programs that give Florida children a chance to live free from the ravages of drug abuse and neglect.

The 2014 event will include a Tennis Pro-Am and Classic Cocktail Receptionat the Boca Raton Resort & Club (Friday, Nov. 21), followed by Pro-Celebrity Tennis sessions at the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center (Saturday &Sunday, Nov. 22 & 23). The annual Charity Gala presented by Esurance, an elegant evening of dinner and dancing that includes live and silent auctions, is scheduled for Saturday evening (Nov. 22) at the Boca Raton Resort & Club.

Premium seating for the Pro-Celebrity tennis event range in price from $40 to $90. Club seats with seat backs are $40 per day  or $70 for the weekend and courtside box seats (rows 1-8) are $90 per day or $175 for the weekend. General admission tickets are $20 per session.

Tickets to the Charity Gala are $750, and sponsorship packages that include ancillary events are also available.
