Boca Raton Police Identify Woman Killed by Train

BOCA RATON – A woman struck and killed by a northbound Florida East Coast Railway train near 1500 South Dixie Highway April 25 has been identified by police.

Police said the woman was identified as 52 year old Leonor Rojas De Cuervo of Boca Raton.  Police said she was identified from belongings found at the scene, the clothing she was wearing and physical characteristics.

Detectives are awaiting toxicology results from the Medical Examiner’s Office to conclude the investigation. If anyone has information about this incident, they are asked to call Detective Jeff Clare at (561) 338-1246.
