Palm Beach County School Was Put on Lockdown Due to Report of Shots Fired
After the Marjory Stoneman Douglas tragedy in Parkland, school safety has become a driving issue now more than ever.
Earlier today, Crestwood Middle School in Royal Palm Beach was put on lockdown due to reports of gun shots near the school.
According to WPTV, the reports about the shots fired went to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
The call made could not be traced and it appears that there were no victims.
The Middle School’s code red lockdown began around the afternoon and consisted of the students remaining where they were till around 4:30 p.m. when the lockdown was lifted.
