Boca Rotary Club advertises Annual Thanksgiving Basket Brigade

The annual Basket Brigade is scheduled for Wednesday November 12th at Boca Helping Hands.

This event is an effort to fill up baskets for less fortunate families that cannot eat on Thanksgiving. You can help by bringing powdered or canned goods.

The Rotary Club of Boca Raton has a goal of filling 28 baskets this holiday season. Nationwide, Boca Helping Hands needs help in order to fill over 2,000 baskets. Below is a list of items needed:

  • Laundry Basket- a must
  • Roasting pan- a must
  • Stuffing Mix
  • Canned Gravy or Powder Gravy Packet
  • Powder Drink Mix(Crystal Light/Tang)
  • Canned Pie Filling
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Fruit Cocktail or Canned Fruit
  • Instant Mashed Potatoes Mix
  • Canned Yams
  • Decorative Napkins/Plates (optional)
  • General Thanksgiving Card from group or family (optional)
