Delray Beach Playhouse auditioning for “Any Wednesday” Aug. 23 and 24

DELRAY BEACH — It’s audition time at the venerable Delray Beach Playhouse.

“Any Wednesday,” a comedy by Muriel Resnik, is having auditions at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 23 and 24. Needed are two men and two women in the 20-60 age range to play a younger and older couple.

Also being cast is the male quartet for the musical “Always, Patsy Cline. The two female leads will be reprised by the two ladies who performed the show so well at Lake Worth Playhouse.

The Playhouse cares about kids too. Auditions for teenage actors and backstage volunteers for “Twelve Angry Jurors” are being held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sept 1 and 2. Needed are 13 high school age performers and three crew members.
