9-Year-Old Boy Dies After Getting Hit By Front-end Loader in Delray

While riding his bike in Delray Beach, a young 9-year-old boy was hit by a front-end loader leading to a deadly outcome.

The boy was reported to have been riding his bike east on Northeast First Street when the accident occurred. He was then struck by the front-end loader as it was leaving a parking lot and heading West.

According to Sun Sentinel, this occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday near Northeast First Street and Seventh Avenue, police stated.

The child was pronounced dead at the scene, his name has not been disclosed.

Investigators are still in search for more information about the crash and ask that anyone who saw or has any information about the crash to call the Delray Police at 561-243-7800.
