9-Year-Old Boy Dies After Getting Hit By Front-end Loader in Delray

While riding his bike in Delray Beach, a young 9-year-old boy was hit by a front-end loader leading to a deadly outcome.

The boy was reported to have been riding his bike east on Northeast First Street when the accident occurred. He was then struck by the front-end loader as it was leaving a parking lot and heading West.

According to Sun Sentinel, this occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday near Northeast First Street and Seventh Avenue, police stated.

The child was pronounced dead at the scene, his name has not been disclosed.
