Creole Cruiser to Make its Boca Raton Debut to Bring You a True Taste of Louisiana

Chef Tony Chachere is bringing its little green cans to you in its big green food truck. The Creole Cruiser will make its Boca Raton, Florida debut at the Publix store at the Polo Club Shoppes, 5050 Champion Blvd., on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 3-6pm.

The Creole Cruiser is making the more than 900-mile trek from Louisiana to help promote Chef Virginia Willis’ newest cookbook. Tony Chachere’s Famous Creole Cuisine is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of Chef Virginia’s Secrets of the Southern Table: A Food Lover’s Tour of the Global South book tour. This new cookbook embraces everything Southern, including its people and traditions – while also breaking many of the existing stereotypes about Southern cooking. Chef Virginia will be showcasing her recipes at the Publix Apron’s Cooking School and will be handing out free food samples with the Creole Cruiser.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with such an outstanding chef and Southern legend,” said Celeste Chachere, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Tony Chachere’s. “Just as Tony Chachere himself embodied true Southern tradition and brought it to life through his Creole Seasoning, Virginia’s recipes do the same with their authentic styles and ingredients.”

The Creole Cruiser, a fully staffed and equipped kitchen on wheel, will be cooking up free samples of Chef Virginia’s recipes, helping to promote and expose fans to the aroma, taste and great tradition of Tony Chachere’s.

Tony Chachere’s Famous Creole Cuisine was founded in 1972 by Tony Chachere, the “Ole Master” of Creole cooking. Tony Chachere’s continues to be family owned and operated and is located in Opelousas, Louisiana. Employing more than 75 people, the family maintains a tradition of Creole authenticity in its comprehensive line of seasonings, mixes, marinades and sauces for both pantry and table.
