Mark your calendars! Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry is Friday, April 27!

Taste of The Nation is the venerable granddaddy of culinary events – not only in south Florida, but for the entire country, as similar Taste of The Nation events take place in many cities throughout the year. And our own South Florida Taste is perennially one of the very best!  This year marks the 30th anniversary of the big bash, which happens Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Ice Palace Films Studios in Miami.

That’s where South Florida foodies and wine lovers, along with top chefs, restaurateurs, sommeliers, mixologists, craft beer and liquor reps, and party-goers of all sorts unite in a spectacular evening of gourmet tastings, fine wines & spirits, live entertainment, and general frivolity – all to benefit Share Our Strength, and its noble “No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger in America.

Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to savor the all diverse flavors of Miami from over 50 of the area’s top restaurants, all while helping America’s children to get the healthy meals they deserve. Executive Chef Timon Balloo of SUGARCANE will once again serve as Chef Chairman, and lead the culinary talent. The 30th annual Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry takes place Friday, April 27, 2018, from 7:00 – 10:00 pm at Ice Palace Films Studios, located at 59 NW 14th Street in Miami.

The party then continues with the exclusive Chef’s After Party for VIP ticket holders from 10:00 PM to midnight at the nearby R House, 2727 NW 2nd Ave. in Wynwood.

General Admission ticket are $150 (while they last); or $200 for VIP tickets, which also include admission to the exclusive Chefs After Party. VIP PLUS tickets are $250, and also provide admission to the event one hour early (6:00), as well as the Chefs After Party.  Tickets to The Chefs After Party alone are $95.

About No Kid Hungry:  Believe it or not, 1 in 6 six children struggles with hunger in America, including more than 1.1 million kids in Florida alone.  No Kid Hungry is ending childhood hunger in this nation by ensuring that kids start the day with a nutritious breakfast and families learn the skills they need to shop and cook on a budget.
