MODS Wine, Spirits and Culinary Celebration – Friday, March 16

Broward County’s Premier Culinary event returns at the MODS!

Attention Foodies, Fine Wine, Spirit, and Craft Beer fans, and Party-goers of all sorts  – the Big Celebration is almost here!   The 23rdd Annual Museum of Discovery and Science / Bank of America Bank of America Wine, Spirits and Culinary Celebration takes place Friday, March 16.  As always, the big bash takes place at The Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS), with all proceeds going to help support the Museum.

The MODS Celebration is a perennial fan favorite (and usually sells out), and has become the premier culinary event of Broward County.  Now celebrating in its 23rd consecutive year, it’s also one of the area’s longest-lasting culinary events. Don’t miss this amazing chance to sip, savor, and socialize amongst 1,500 like-minded partygoers, amidst the wonders of the MODS.  Discover new culinary adventures, with unlimited samplings from over 40 of South Florida’s top eateries, including: A Joy Wallace Catering, American Fine Wine Competition, Angelo Elia Bakery Bar, Aprons Cooking School, Boatyard, Café Ala Carte, Casa Calabria Trattoria, Crepemaker, ETARU, Fare to Remember, Grateful Palate, Havanna, Healthy Xpress, John Knox Village Catering, Kitchen 305, Krispy Kreme,  Lona, Park & Ocean, Pizza Craft Pizzeria, S3, Seasons 52, Shooters Waterfront, Sky Thai Sushi, Sparkling Bitters, Spatch Peri-Peri Chicken, Ten Palms Restaurant at Gulfstream Park, The Apothecary 330, Timpano, YOLO, and more!

Also on tap: Endless pours of fine wines, craft beers, and select spirits (thanks to sponsor Southern Glazer Wine & Spirits), a complimentary wine glass, a Silent Auction with amazing prizes, and live entertainment – plus, of course, the ever-popular, ultra-chic After Party (8:30 – 10:00) in the MODS Atrium, where the food & drink continue, the music (and the guests!) get livelier, and partygoers dance off the calories under the stars.

But the really cool thing about the MODS Celebration is not just the great food and drink – it’s also the most fun event you’ll ever attend. That’s because it all takes place at the Museum of Discovery and Science, where can roam and explore between bites, marvel at the awesome displays and live animals, and challenge your skills at some state-of-the-art interactive games (particularly fun after a few dozen wine samplings!) – and maybe even learn a few things!

The 23rd Annual Bank of America Wine, Spirits and Culinary Celebration takes place Friday, March 16, 2018, from 6:30 pm (or 5:30 for Platinum Experience ticketholders) through 8:30 pm at The Museum of Discovery and Science; and continues with the After Party from 8:30 – 10:00 p.m. in the MODS Atrium.  The Museum is located at 401 SW Second Street in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Guests are encouraged to share in excitement of the event through social media by posting pictures of the event on Museum of Discovery and Science Facebook Page, Tweeting @IMAXSOFL, and utilizing Instagram to upload their event photos by tagging the Museum’s IG page: @mods with the hashtag: #MODSWine.

Tickets are $150 for the Grand Tasting, or $300 for the Platinum Experience (only 500 available), which includes one-hour early access to the Grand Tasting, plus exclusive access to Platinum Lounge.  Ticket prices are all-inclusive, with unlimited samplings of all the food and drink offerings, plus entry to the exclusive After Party.  Each guest also receives a complimentary wine glass.  Parties of 10 or more can receive a reduced group rate.
