Dubliner Hosts 2nd Annual Boca’s Got Talent

The City of Boca Raton proved that it does, in fact, have talent for the second year in a row. A sold-out crowd packed The Dubliner Irish Pub in Mizner Park on Monday, August 17th, for the annual “Boca’s Got Talent” showcase as part of Boca Chamber Festival Days sponsored by Lifespace Communities. This event benefitting the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation drew a record number of attendees, including Mayor Susan Haynie, who was one of the esteemed judges. Other celebrity judges included Boca Tribune editor Pedro Heizer, ESPN sports anchor Emerson Lotzia, and local television and radio personality Andrea O’Campo. The 3 big winners of the evening were: 11 year old singing sensation Ava Faith (1st place), Boca’s funniest dentist, “Dr. Dan” Greenstein, DDS (2nd place), and powerhouse vocalist Tomey Sellars (3rd place).  Guests also enjoyed a lively performance by local entertainer Maggie Baugh, who sang and played guitar while the votes were being tallied. The event was co-hosted by Jon Sahn of Ascendant Planned Giving and Lori McQuestion (aka “Two Story Lori”) with TransMedia Group and sponsored by Plum Productions.DSC_0244
