The Camino Real Bridge, the City of Boca Raton’s oldest bridge, will be closed for most of tomorrow, Wednesday April 29th.

The drawbridge near the Boca Raton Resort will be closed to traffic from 8AM – 6PM. The closure comes as Palm Beach County completes work on a repaving project on Camino Real between Federal Highway and the Intracoastal Waterway.

The aging bridge is on Palm Beach County’s list for a much-needed, $6M renovation beginning in the second half of 2016.

As for tomorrow, traffic should use State Road A1A, Palmetto Park Road, Southeast Fifth Street or U.S. 1 to get around the closure.
