FAU Football Coach Fined $5K for Offensive Twitter Post
Lane Kiffin, Florida Atlantic University’s football coach was recently fined $5,000 for a criticizing photo he posted on Twitter.
Kiffin posted a photoshopped image on Saturday night of blind officials using canes and seeing eye dogs with the inclusion of @ConferenceUSA .
The image was meant to be criticizing those officiating the Owls’ game on Friday after FAU lost 36-31 to Marshall at a home game.
According to WPTV, Conference USA stated on Sunday that they had disciplined Kiffin with the ideals of holding true to their rules and standards regarding sportsmanship.
