Cheaper Options to Be Presented for Boca National Golf Course

It has become well-known that the Boca National Golf Course has a proposed cost of $28 million.

The Price/Fazio design is being supported by the Boca Raton Beach and Parks District, through asking the city to help pay for the proposed price.

$28 million is a large number that would cause anyone to re-evaluate the project and according to WPTV, the City Council members are looking for any way to lower this paramount price.

Mayor Scott Singer told WPTV that the new golf course’s goal is to present a world-class experience to residents at a reasonable price.

Singer has confirmed that Council members will be weighing the possibilities of other design options and even seeing if the course can be built with $8 million.

Currently, 16 golf course designers have submitted their proposals to the city, all of which would have the course built in around $8 million.
