Beehive Opening Nite at the Wick Theater
On Saturday evening, my travels took me to the Wick Theater for the opening of the musical “Beehive”. Seven talented young ladies sang and danced their way thru the 60’s and the audience loved it. After the show a Champagne and appetizers reception was held in the lounge where young singer Vanessa Simpson paid tribute to singer/actress Connie Francis who was in the audience for this performance. An evening well enjoyed. I look forward to the Mother’s Day show which is an “Evening with Frank Sinatra” on May 14th.
There’s never been a singer with the world-wide popularity as Connie’s had, and still has. Even though it’s been ages since her last recording, her records are still played all over the world. I am proud and pleased to know this very wonderful singer/philanthropic lady/all-around terrific person!
