I attended the monthly Tiger Bay Club luncheon at the City Fish Market where the speaker was a young war hero named Brian Mast.
He kept the audience spellbound telling his story of how he served 12 years as a soldier in the U.S. Army resulting in the sacrifice of both legs and a finger while conducting special forces operations in Afghanistan. Mast continued his bravery after being disabled by volunteering with the Israeli Defensive Forces (IDF). He received a standing ovation from the appreciative crowd. He is considering a run for Congress in a few years and one member of the Tiger Bay Group suggested that he should consider running for President someday!
