Tropical System May Continue Towards Florida and The Carolinas

After the scare of Hurricane Dorian, Floridians have been keeping an eye on the path of Tropical Storm Humberto.

The watch that was originally issues for the east-central coast of Florida on Thursday, was extended into the Volusia-Brevard County line in Daytona Beach.

The National Hurricane Center announced Friday morning that the tropical disturbance moved slightly east as of last night.

The storm is expected to move along or even over the east coast of Florida on Saturday into Saturday night, bringing rainfall and winds throughout the weekend.

According to Sun Sentinel, the system is expected to develop into a tropical depression or storm within the next couple of days.

Palm Beach County and north, are expected to experience the most tropical storm force winds, with expected rains of 2 to 4 inches up until Sunday.
