Another Tropical Storm Could Potentially Be Forming Soon and Named “Humberto”

After the scare caused by Hurricane Dorian, Floridians are attempting to stay on top of storm tracking and weather updates at the peak of hurricane season.

There has recently been a disturbance that is being monitored north of Hispaniola.

This disturbance is slowly traveling northwest and officials state that it has a 60 percent chance of tropical development within the next week, according to WPTV.

The tracking models estimate the disturbance developing into a tropical depression around Friday and possibly turn into “Tropical Storm Humberto” by Sunday.

Models show the disturbance east to southeast of Florida on Friday, bringing us rain and scattered thunderstorms throughout the weekend.

Stay tuned as officials continue tracking the development of this system.
