Dorian now boasts winds up to 115 mph in the western Atlantic Ocean.
The National Hurricane Center said Dorian “poses a significant threat to Florida and the Northwestern Bahamas,” and is now forecast to make landfall on late Monday or early Tuesday as a possible Category 4 storm.
The still forecast has the storm staying a Category 4 until landfall along the Florida east coast early Tuesday morning.
With Dorian slowing down, the timing of everything has also slowed down. Based on Friday morning’s data, Palm Beach County could see:
- Tropical Storm Conditions on Sunday
- Hurricane conditions on Monday and Tuesday
