Dorian continues to strengthen, move further away from Boca Raton

The latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center has Hurricane Dorian clocking in as a dangerous Category 4 storm with sustained winds of 150 mph.

However, latest models show Dorian making a further shift east, keeping Boca Raton only seeing Tropical Storm winds on late Monday, early Tuesday.

With Hurricane force winds extending up to 30 miles from the center and tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 115 miles, Dorian is still a very serious threat, but not as severe as once though.

As with anything, the storm could possibly make a shift, but we will not know until the next few advisories.
