Update on Tropical Storm Lorenzo

Hurricane season ventures on and we are continuously tracking the three tropical systems currently in play.

Tropical Storm Lorenzo has been predicted to become a hurricane and the recent predictions show it reaching Category 3 speeds around this Friday.

Although it is still uncertain where the path of Lorenzo will lead, spaghetti models demonstrate Lorenzo staying on open waters.

According to Sun Sentinel, Lorenzo is predicted to turn north in the Atlantic and east of the Caribbean.

As of this morning the National Hurricane Center states, Lorenzo was 370 miles southwest of Cabo Verde Islands and more than about 3,500 miles away from South Florida at a max wind speed of 65 mph.
