Sold-out Event Raises Nearly $150,000 for Programs Benefiting Palm Beach County Adults With Disabilities

Boca Raton, FL – More than 370 guests attended on February 18 — President’s Day at Mar-a-Lago, Palm Beach, the 28th Annual Hab-a-Hearts Luncheon benefiting programs and services for the Palm Beach Habilitation Center. Ann Jaggie was honored as the 2019 Queen of Hearts for her outstanding volunteer service and support for adults with disabilities.

Honorary Chair Barbara Fuschetti of North Palm Beach and co-chairpersons Donna Scully and Joan Thompson of Atlantis presided over the sold-out event themed “Jazz Up Your Giving” as guests enjoyed a medley of jazz favorites performed by PBA Jazz Ensemble led by Roget Pontbriand. Tiffany Kenney, a popular news anchor for WPBF 25 News, returned as the gracious celebrity emcee.

President Donald J. Trump entered the ballroom and waved to a cheering crowd — a special highlight embodying the spirit of the President’s Day holiday.

David Lin, CEO of the Palm Beach Habilitation Center, thanks all of the sponsors, donors and volunteers of the 28th Annual Hab-a-Hearts Luncheon. He says, “Their support of the event has a direct impact on our ability to provide a wide range of programs and services to adults with significant disabilities in Palm Beach County.”

Proceeds — nearly $150,000 raised from the Hab-a-Hearts Luncheon — will help support the many programs and services to the more than 500 adults with disabilities living in Palm Beach County.
