Since 2013 we have correctly predicted every municipal elections and last night, for the first time, we correctly predicted both the Republican and Democratic Florida Primaries. - Crystal Springs bought the local water and they bring troubles for local customers distributor company Culligan Water. Since then the customers are suffering from terrible services. Crystal Springs, who has its customer service in Texas, have not been able to fix problems made by their local Boca Raton Office who never answer calls from local customers. DH
- Soccer Fever: Four of the top women’s teams in the World were in Boca Raton Last week for the SheBelieves Cup at FAU Stadium. France and England played to a 0-0 draw in the first match and U.S. Women’s Nation Team defeated Germany 2-1 in the Finals. PH
- Soccer Fever 2: Soccer Star Rivaldo came to Boca Raton to watch the Boca Raton FC game and fell in love with the city. Rivaldo and his family stayed at Waterstone Marina Resort during the weekend and after the game, he joined some BRFC staff for pizza at Tucci’s Pizza. DH
- Soccer Fever 3: Last Saturday, Boca Raton Football Club hosted the New York Cosmos at Boca Raton HS Stadium. The Cosmos are one of the most recognizable franchises in the United States. Not only did the local fans come to the event, but also important names of the soccer world in the United States. The president and commissioner of NPSL, one of the largest soccer leagues in the United States, Joe Barrone, Owners and Directors of professional teams not only from South Florida but from Central Florida, Italy, and New York come to watch not only the game but also to see the organization of our local Soccer Team. - Once again Jay Van Vechten hosted the 8th Annual Boating and Beach Bash for People with Disabilities at Spanish River Park. The Boating and Beach Bash is the largest, free fun day in the nation for people of all ages with physical and/or intellectual challenges and their caregivers. VH

- The Barman’s Fund event “Drink with Purpose” is coming to Boca Raton on March 19th at Lion & Eagle Pub to raise money for The Palm Beach School for Autism. The money collected at the fundraiser will be used to purchase iPod touches for nonverbal students with Autism to teach them effective communication skills so they can communicate with their peers. Cash donations, tips, and gently used iPod touches can be donated to The Barman’s Fund as well. The event will start at 8:00AM and end at 4:00PM. AL

- Clinton and Trump dominated the primaries on Tuesday while Senator Rubio suspends his campaign after losing the Florida Republican primary with 27% of votes. Clinton won with 64.5% of votes (1,094,289) and Trump with 45.8% (1,075,094). VH
- GEO Group, a public prison company, paid $9.9million to Butters Construction of Coconut Creek for a vacant site in Boca Raton to build a new headquarters. The construction will begin in 2017. VH
- Broward County students raise approximately $50,000 on fundraisers to sponsor World War II veterans’ trip to Washington, D.C. on April to see the monuments in their honor. VH
- FAU researcher, Jang Yen Wu, received $1.2 million from the James and Esther King Biomedical Research Program, Florida Department of Health, to develop an innovative stroke treatment. VH
- The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 36 will be giving free safe boating classes in Boca Raton, sponsored by the AustinBlu Foundation. Classes will be taught once a month starting this Saturday at the Spanish River Park Headquarter building. Instructors will teach boating terminology, what to do during a boating emergency, state and federal boating rules, what equipment is required by law, and more. VH
- Dunkin’ Donuts will award $1,000 scholarships to 15 eligible high school students across South Florida. The requirements include students with a financial need with a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, and the student must be planning to enroll full-time in an accredited 2 or 4-year college for the 2016-2017 school year. The postmark deadline is April 29, 2016. VH
- The Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County presents “A Conversation with Alan Dershowitz” hosted by Congregation B’nai Israel. - A Tribute to the Masters concert presented by guest conductor Gerard Schwarz and piano soloist Misha Dichter will take place on March 20th at Roberts Theatre, St. Andrew’s School. The Symphonia will play pieces by Beethoven, Ives, and Mendelssohn. VH
- On Monday, Robert Weinroth visited the Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District to express his concern about the lack of communication between the city and the district. The last meeting in which the city and the district came together was in June f 2015. After coming together, the district agreed to pay part of the Central Beach project and are looking to buy private beachfront properties to use the land for a public park. VH
