This Wednesday at Bobcats stadium, there will be a huge district matchup featuring the Boca High and Spanish River. This is a huge game for both teams as both are in the top 10 for Palm Beach County.
Boca (5-2-3), is coming off of a disappointing loss to Jupiter. It is only the second loss for the Bobcats, but definitely a devastating one. On the other hand, Spanish River (2-1-3) will enter with upset on their mind.
Boca High has not lost the district in 12 years and will be looking to keep that streak going. Spanish River has been an up and down team all year. Even though it is early, Spanish River looks like it can be a threat down the stretch. Boca has a crucial district win already with a win over Park Vista at home. Coach Marcelo Castillo has kept one thing on his player’s minds: State Championship. Coach Castillo has coached a state title team before and knows what it takes to win. Expect his team to come out firing, especially after being upset by Jupiter.
