paul walkerOn November 30th, American actor Paul Walker died in a car accident in Santa Clarita, CA. According to the report by CNN’s Alan Duke, the 40-year old star, who is most famous for his role as Brian O’Conner in the action thriller ‘Fast and Furious’, was riding in the passenger seat of a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, when the driver, Roger Rodas lost control and hit a light pole, resulting in the death of both men.

With the sudden news of the actor’s death, there have been rumors in the media that there might be a halt on the release of ‘Fast and Furious 7’. According to The Guardian, however, the actor had already filmed the majority of his scenes, and although it is likely there will be a delay in the movie’s release, which was planned for July, 2014, sources have said there are no plans to abandon the film.

TMZ reported that both Walker and Rodas had attended a charity event earlier that day, organized by Paul’s organization Reach Out Worldwide, to support the Philippines typhoon relief effort. A fan who attended the event said “The world lost an angel in Paul. He dedicated so much of his life to helping disadvantaged kids and people who are in need. I’m gonna do whatever I can to keep Paul’s goals for the charity alive.”
