Grace Kelly
The Princess of Monaco and her daughter were driving around Monaco when she suffered a stroke. The stroke caused her to lose control of the vehicle and crash. She was rushed to the hospital in serious condition, where she was put on life support. Sadly, her brain was severely injured, and her husband, Prince Rainier III, had to make the heart-wrenching choice to pull her off life support. On Sep 14, 1982, she passed.
Lisa Lopes AKA “Left Eye”
In the late 1980s and early 1990s, TLC was a popular girl band with several hit songs. “Left Eye” was Lisa Lopes’s group name, and she enjoyed her popularity. One of their biggest hits was the song “Waterfalls,” which sold more than 11.8 million copies in the US alone.
Lopes had several mental issues, and she was arrested when she burned down her boyfriend Ande Rison’s mansion. While on vacation in Honduras, she was driving on the small roads and going too fast. She tried to avoid hitting the truck and oversteered the car. The result was the automobile flipping numerous times and causing her to sustain deadly injuries. The others in the car were unscathed.
Paul Walker
It is ironic that Paul Walker would die in a car crash, since he is known for his stunt driving abilities in the Fast and Furious movies. On November 30, 2013, Walker went for a ride with his friend, Roger Rodas. The driver was going around 80-90 miles per hour when he lost control of the car.
The road they were traveling on had a speed limit of 45 miles per hour, and the vehicle, a Porsche Carrera, wasn’t made to maintain the speed it was driven. Paul Walker died from burns from the fire and the impact of the crash.
