BOCA RATON – Shopping For Soldiers Needs.org will hold its Second Annual Gala Event, “Dancing in the Sky,” Saturday, Aug. 14 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Carmen’s at the Top of the Bridge Hotel, 999 East Camino Real, Boca Raton. It will be an evening of music and dancing, with tunes provided by the Bulldog Band.
Proceeds benefit injured soldiers.
The cocktail reception begins at 6 p.m. sharp with hors d’oeuvres, mingling, and raffles. The “Command Post Booth” will again be set up for all to see what the organization does. While you are there, sign the “Gigantic Card” that will be sent to Walter Reed Hospital and Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. Guests are invited to send a message to a soldier and learn how to become involved in the mission to make a difference in the lives of the men and women that have sacrificed so much to keep the country safe and free.
The Bulldogs begin performing at 7, and Chefs Tables provided by top local restaurants will open.
