Boca Raton, FL – The Symphony of the Americas Society will host a Three Decades Celebration Luncheon on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at The Ritz Carlton in Fort Lauderdale.  This event is a tribute to supporters of the Symphony of the Americas, who have kept the music playing for the past thirty years and helped the Symphony achieve the status of a Major Cultural Institution in Broward County.

Included in this distinguished group are prominent individuals such as Rose Miniaci, who in 2016 received The Rose Miniaci Legacy Award from the Symphony of the Americas in recognition of her remarkable dedication to the Arts. Both Mrs. Madelyn Savarick and Dr. Peter Babinski have received Lifetime Achievement Awards. Over one hundred supporters have been honored including Ann Burris, Rick & Rita Case, Patrick Daoud, The Finizio Family, Honorable Arnold Grevior, Commissioner Chip & Eileen LaMarca, Barbara Lefka, Robert & Jennifer Roselli, Juliet Roulhac, Mary Short, Bob Swindell & John Cotter, Kenny & Sandy Tate, among others.

The Three Decades Celebration Luncheon is Co-Chaired by Lisa Scott-Founds, David Founds, Paul Sallarulo and Johanne Marcoux. The highlight of the afternoon will be a performance by the Symphony of the Americas. All previous Symphony honorees are invited to “walk the runway” with beautiful music from the Symphony orchestra playing in the background. The Luncheon will begin with a Champagne Reception and fabulous Silent Auction.  Then, The Ritz Carlton will serve a three course gourmet lunch accompanied by fine wines. This event will benefit the Symphony’s Educational and Outreach Programs, which touch the lives of over 35,000 people annually.

Beginning its 31st Concert Season in October, the Symphony of the Americas has been delighting audiences for the past 3 decades and will continue with world-class performances of masterworks of the classical repertoire. Under the direction of its founding conductor, Maestro James Brooks-Bruzzese, the Symphony has brought the best of classical music to South Florida. Its focus is enriching the lives of the people it reaches through the wonderful power of music.
