The only thing missing was the drum roll when Impact 100 Palm Beach County revealed the nonprofits that made the semi-finalist cut for possible $100,000 or merit grants.
One hundred people, most of them from the 82 applicants, were on the Zoom announcing the list in five categories. Each nonprofit applied for a specific program. See the list below.
The next step in the selection process is reviewing proposals and site visits, Impact announced. Once the finalists are announced on April 9, they make a pitch at Impact’s Grand Awards Celebration on April 30. All the Impact members attend and vote on a winner in each category to receive $100,000 at the event’s finale. The balance is shared equally with the rest of the finalists as merit awards.
This is their 13th year as grant funders, awarding more than $6 million to 99 nonprofits, and they’ll concentrate on expanding their membership so they can give out more money, their leaders announced. https://www.impact100pbc.org/
