Proceeds Will Help The Organization Continue Its Mission To Help Others “Live a Life Without Limits”
Boca Raton, FL – Join Stand Among Friends at the “Spirit of Giving Community Spirit Race” Saturday, March 4th at FAU’s campus by registering for TEAM emb(race). Proceeds will support the organization in its mission to help others live a life without limits. By way of background, Stand Among Friends (SAF) is headquartered at Florida Atlantic University and its daily focus is to help all people with disabilities live independently. SAF provides vocational evaluations for people with disabilities and supports organizations, including those that provide employment placement services, disability diversity training, and assistive technology. These services are imperative to help those with disabilities live a meaningful and productive life.
- WHO: Stand Among Friends is a non-profit organization formed in 1997 that helps college students and adults with disabilities prepare for, seek and understand their strengths when looking for employment and a career.
- WHAT: Stand Among Friends’ TEAM emb(race) will participate at the “Spirit of Giving, Community Spirit Race”, a community-wide fundraising event for nonprofit organizations.
