Annual “Cocktails for JARC” Event Raises over $30,000

Record-breaking Night Held at Crazy Uncle Mike’s in Boca Raton Benefitted Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

Boca Raton, FL – JARC Florida, a non-profit, non-sectarian organization that provides programs and services to educate and empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, held their annual ‘Cocktails for JARC’ event at Crazy Uncle Mike’s in Boca Raton, Fla. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. The evening raised over $30,000 for the organization which broke the record for the most funds raised at any previous ‘Cocktails’ event.

“We are so very grateful for the support we received from our community,” said Jeffrey Zirulnick, CEO of JARC Florida. “Every dollar raised allows us to continue our mission to educate and empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.”

The event was chaired by Justin and Kate Tompkins, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting JARC Florida and its programming. I was so honored to once again be chairing this incredible event for JARC,” said Co-Chair Justin Tompkins, Senior Financial Advisor, The Tompkins Group. “JARC is very important to my wife Kate and I and we are proud to be able to support a worthy cause while showing all that JARC does for the community.”

This year, for the first time ever, there were two ‘Cocktails for JARC’ events held to benefit the organization; the first of which was held in New York City at Pod39 Hotel’s Rooftop on Thursday, August 4, 2022, with nearly 100 supporters in attendance.
