Tourist Notes: Boca Raton – A Small City of Parks and Beaches

Not sure what to do this weekend? Have you already puzzle over where to go, so that it will be remembered for a lifetime? Then we suggest you go here, to the paradise of beaches, parks and interesting architecture. Coming here, you will completely forget about the life issues and endless games at https://20bet.com/live-casino because this amazing place will charm you forever.

Boca Raton is a chamber, colorful, intelligent, and calm town with its own unique charm. Americans who have visited this city or heard stories about it affectionately call it simply “Boca”. So, first things first.

The chamber atmosphere in Boca Raton is created by the fact that only about 90 thousand people live here. But due to the excessively humid climate all year round, there is almost never anyone on the streets. That is, it is almost impossible to see someone just walking on the sidewalk because there are few sidewalks as such. Therefore, Boca is also an ideal place to drive as there are no pedestrians. This sometimes gives the impression of a ghost town, especially during hurricane season. Especially when all the “winter birds” fly to their northern residences somewhere in New England.

Those are wealthy Americans living in the northern states who come to Florida for the winter. According to Forbes magazine, Boca Raton is home to three of the ten richest gated communities in the United States.

The locals of Boca Raton give the city a special flavor. These are, as a rule, very well-groomed, uncommonly dressed, stately people without age.

So what is interesting in Boca Raton besides half-empty beaches and humble millionaires in Starbucks? The A1A road runs along the beach with stunning views of the ocean on one side and the intercoastal, golf courses, and beautiful mansions on the other. This road does have a sidewalk on which the locals jog and ride their bicycles. This is why I advise all cyclists, runners, and those who love beautiful views to experience the peaceful atmosphere of A1A at least once.

After a walk or jog, you can drop by Mizner Park, which is an open-air promenade with shops, restaurants, and cafes. The architecture is pleasing to the eye with pastel pink tones combined with palm trees. Also, there are fountains, and colorful convertibles parked along the boardwalk. All this creates the impression of a different universe, which is far from the global problems of humanity and the pressing issues of our time.

Finally, on the territory of the city with an area of 75 km2, there are several dozen beautiful temples. Along with traditional Christian churches, synagogues, and mosques, you can also see the Greek Orthodox Church, the Armenian Church, and others. On the same 75 km2, there is a small airport where private planes land. Sometimes they fly so low that it seems as if you can see the passengers from the ground. However, the main thing is that on these 75 km2 there are two universities (the private Lynn University and the Florida Atlantic State University) and one college (Palm Beach State College).

Lynn University is prized by residents of the city for its conservatory, whose students often give free concerts in the city’s open areas. At the same time, local residents themselves act as volunteers at the concerts, who enjoy the opportunity for cultural pastime without having to travel outside the city. But the main attraction of Boca Raton is Florida Atlantic University, which is the city’s main employer and has about 3,000 employees.

So, come, if you haven’t been here yet, and if you were, be sure to come back again. A unique place where everyone will find something for themselves!
