The Palm Beaches Kick-Off Super Bowl Celebrations with Regional Events

54 Days to Super Bowl LIV (54)! 

The Super Bowl Host Committee, the Lombardi Trophy and members of the media traveled via Brightline to West Palm Beach this morning  to attend a 54 Days to Super Bowl LIV (54) press conference.

Although the game will take place in Miami, Super Bowl LIV will impact the entire South Florida region, including The Palm Beaches.

Super Bowl LIV will take place during the NFL’s centennial celebration, which will add to the anticipation and excitement for this game.  Super Bowl Celebration events will be held throughout all regions of Palm Beach County, which were highlighted at the press conference.

Representatives from Brightline were on hand to discuss the importance of their partnership with the Super Bowl – a collaboration which illustrates the connection between the three counties and the regional impact of the Super Bowl in The Palm Beaches.

The magnificent weather, beautiful coastline, world-class golf courses, restaurants and rich culture make Palm Beach County an ideal place to truly experience the Super Bowl season.

George Linley, Executive Director of the PBC Sports Commission welcomed those in attendance and declared the county’s excitement to be a partner with the Miami Super Bowl Host Committee. He is looking forward to creating, “an environment for visitors that allows the Super Boawl to live in The Palm Beaches!”

Senior Vice President od Corporate Affairs for Brightline, Ben Parritt, noted, “Brightline will offer greater connectivity for fans from across South Florida to enjoy hame festivities across the mega region and ansi remove cars from the road.”

Planned activities include:

Monday January 27th: Super Bowl Football Camps at Lake Lytal Park in West Palm Beach and Orange Bowl Field at Glades Pioneer Park

Verdenia Baker, Dave Kerner, Mary Lou Berger and Robert Weinroth

Tuesday January 28th: NFL Alumni Hospital Visits to St Mary’s Medical Center and Palms West Hospital

Wednesday January 29th: Delray Beach SUPER Fashion Week (Jan 29 – Feb 2); and

Super Bowl Community Celebration at Juno Beach Park

Thursday January 30th: Super Clematis by Night

Friday January 31st: Super Bowl Rally at Old School Square Park (Delray Beach)

Sunday February 2nd: Super Bowl Party throughout Downtown Delray Beach; and

Super Bowl Party at Sea on Bahama Paradise Cruise Lines.

Linley explained this list of events will continue to expand as we get closer to the big game!
